Workforce Solutions Borderplex Child Care Services

Provides assistance with the cost of childcare for families who need child care to work and/or attend school, or job-training. Services are available to qualifying families in Brewster, Culberson, El Paso, Hudspeth, Jeff Davis, and Presidio Counties. 2-1-1 is a free, easy to use phone number available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week staffed by trained professionals. 2-1-1 is connected to nearly every service in the state including government agencies, food pantries, career services, after-school programs, affordable childcare, counseling services, medical and mental health assistance, eldercare, housing assistance, disaster relief and many other state and local resources.

Provides research-based tips and links to trusted resources that help subscribing caregivers support their children's development. This texting service is available in English and Spanish. Current messages focus on ways to talk to your children about COVID-19, as well as at-home activities, how to manage stress during an outbreak, and more. We also include messages about local resources and information for parents and caregivers.
